meet Cat Acquaviva & Kat Mills
Kindred spirit sisters Cat Acquaviva and Kat Mills met on a yoga retreat in Nicaragua six years ago. Cat was a full-time yoga teacher in New York City and Kat was immersed in the world of filmmaking and performance art. Even before their paths crossed, they shared teachers and a common devotion to yogic practices and lifestyle. As many NYC yoga teachers do, Cat and Kat migrated to the sunny west coast around the same time. Once in LA, Cat expanded and refined her teaching based on her studies with Abbie Galvin, Carrie Owerko, Schuyler Grant, and Noah Mazé. Kat has branched out to study Cha Dao (the Way of Tea), Tantric sadhana and ritual, and feminine healing practices. They are both deeply connected with nature, committed to sacred self care, and are conscious consumers in support of mother earth. They currently host workshops together in Los Angeles, combining yoga, meditation, tea, and kirtan. They look forward to sharing these ancient practices with you on their first retreat together in gorgeous Ubud!
